Fair question. Here is the honest answer.

There is a lot of coffee on the internet. Most of it is fine. Here is what is actually different about ours.

1. Flavor comes first, every time

Plenty of mushroom coffee tastes like the bottom of a garden. Ours does not, because we are a coffee company that added mushrooms, not a supplement company that learned to roast. If a blend does not taste good on its own, it does not ship. The same bar applies to the flavored line: Bananas Foster, Pralines and Creme, Peach Cobbler. Dessert-grade, no added sugar, no sweetener.

2. Seven mushrooms, not a dusting of one

Our mushroom blends carry lion's mane, chaga, reishi, cordyceps, maitake, shiitake and turkey tail. Each one is on the label, so you know what you are drinking. No mystery "proprietary blend" doing a lot of work on the packaging.

3. Small batches, packed fresh

Coffee is produce. It has a best window, and a bag that sat in a warehouse for four months is not the same product no matter what the label says. We roast and pack in small batches out of New Orleans so what reaches you is inside that window.

4. Your order does some good on its own

A portion of every order supports mental health causes and students at historically Black colleges and universities. You are not donating, you are buying good coffee. The giving happens either way, on us.

5. A real person answers the email

No ticket numbers, no chatbot. Write to whodatjava@gmail.com and a person in New Orleans reads it and answers within one business day.
